In Assisted Living Memory Care, it is our calling to connect with each individual and their family in a compassionate and personalized way. Residents feel connected, as a neighborhood, in a comfortable, warm, and safe home environment. Our experienced and expert team receives extensive dementia training to support residents and provide the services and compassion they need. A welcoming and loving atmosphere awaits.
Our campus offers a full continuum of quality lifetime care services. If needed, Assisted Living Memory Care residents are given priority access to Post-Acute Care, Memory Care, and higher levels of care at our Health Center.

For seniors in early to mid-stages of memory impairment, Stonehill Communities offers Assisted Living Memory Care. A compassionate, certified staff specializing in dementia and its accompanying challenges is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to support residents with personalized services such as assistance with bathing, dressing, or medication management. Our top priority is to help guide residents while identifying ways to celebrate life and promote independence.

We understand dinners are important social events for our residents, and we make an effort each day to make that time special. Assisted Living Memory Care residents enjoy three delicious meals each day prepared by our certified staff. Our talented staff takes pride in their jobs and truly enjoys creating a wide variety of delicious entrées that are made fresh every day. If you have a favorite recipe you would like to share, our cooks would be happy to try it!

- Holiday meals at Assisi Village are extra special. The menu is rich in tradition for holidays such as Christmas Eve and distinctively unique for other holidays like St. Patrick’s Day dinner.

Activities are a vital part of the Assisi Village experience. We offer a full calendar of events that residents can choose from every day, from fitness classes to music programs. It’s a priority for our staff to know our residents’ likes and dislikes so we can plan activities that residents enjoy. Our variety of events enables residents to foster new friendships, learn new things, and discover new passions. If there is an activity that isn’t on our calendar, let us know and we will try to add it. We appreciate all suggestions.

Assisi Village coordinates financial services for residents with qualifying long-term care insurance as well as residents who qualify for veteran’s assistance.
When should I consider Assisted Living Memory Care?
Noticing physical signs of decline in yourself or your loved one may be difficult, but it’s during this time that we encourage you to visit with Stonehill Communities staff about your options. These signs may include rapid weight loss, lack of food in the home, neglect in personal hygiene, signs of medication not taken or refilled, inexplicable bruises or injuries, missed appointments or confusion on days of the week. Early in the diagnosis is your best opportunity to begin visiting, touring, and exploring Assisted Living with Memory Care at Assisi Village.
Is a dementia diagnosis required for Assisted Living Memory Care?
No, a formal diagnosis of dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairment is not required. All Assisted Living and Assisted Living Memory Care residents will receive an initial screening which includes a cognition test and will also include input from family members. This screening will help determine which level of service is most appropriate.
When was Stonehill Independent Living and Assisted Living at Assisi Village built?
Independent Living was added to the Stonehill campus in 1999 and Assisted Living services were added in 2009. Expanded Assisted Living and Assisted Living Memory Care were added in 2020.
How many Assisted Living Memory Care apartments do you have?
We have 14 Assisted Living apartments.
Do you have Catholic mass?
We have daily mass and daily rosary in the Assisi Chapel.
How many meals are included for Assisted Living Memory Care residents?
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals are offered seven days per week, including holidays.
Are housekeeping and laundry services included in the monthly cost?
Weekly housekeeping and laundry services are included.
Do residents have to pay for monthly utility costs?
All utilities are included in the monthly rate.
Do residents have to pay for Wi-Fi or cable?
Wi-Fi and cable expenses are included in your monthly rate.
Do you offer transportation services?
We offer complimentary transportation to medical appointments and organized activities.
If I need more care, can I transfer to the Stonehill Health Center?
All Assisted Living Memory Care residents are given priority access to short-term rehab services and nursing care at our Health Center.
Do you have an RN on staff?
We have a full-time RN on staff.
What type of activities do you plan?
We offer a variety of activities that residents can choose from each day, from cards and Bingo to gardening and music programs. Activities are planned based on residents’ interests.
