May is Older Americans Month and we, at Stonehill Communities, want to celebrate vibrancy and fullness of life. Many who visit Stonehill are surprised to see the number of activities, outings, and wellness classes happening every day. People are selecting the full continuum of services offered by Stonehill not just as a place to simply live, but a place to thrive.
Take a peek at the Stonehill website www.stonehilldbq.com and you’ll see a wide variety of opportunities to take part in this vibrant experience. Whether you want to work on your mind, body, or spirit there is something for everyone.
For your mind, take in a game of trivia, enjoy the Stories and Jokes event, listen to a band perform, or play a game of cards. For your body, join in exercises with Restorative Care or the Wellness Center or have your nails done for a more relaxing pace. For your spirit, attend mass, join others to pray the Rosary, or join in Spiritual Sharing. Whether at the Stonehill Health Center, Assisi Village Independent and Assisted Living, or the Stonehill Wellness Center there are daily opportunities for a thriving daily life.
And did you know that the Stonehill Wellness Center is open to the community? The 55+ Senior All-Inclusive membership is just $15 a month or $150 a year. This includes use of all strength and cardio equipment, access to unlimited group exercise classes, sauna, and the Hydroworx pool.
