Support special resident dining experiences

You can bring joy to residents of Stonehill by contributing to special restaurant dine-in meals catered by local restaurants.

Project Food From Friends will raise money for special dine-in events to take place all year long. We know it has been a difficult year for residents and we want to ensure there are still fun things to look forward to. Residents love getting special meals from KFC, Happy Joes, Hy-Vee, Catfish Charlies, and other Dubuque favorites! We all know food holds more significance than merely nourishing our bodies, meals are a time when we gather together to share stories and laughter, a time when we feel connected.

The more we are able to raise, the more residents we can impact. You can provide a meal to residents in one household unit at the Health Center or a group of Assisi Village residents for $300. It costs approximately $2,500-$4,000 to provide a dine-in meal for every resident.

Not able to sponsor a full meal, but still want to help? You can be a sponsor for a donation of $50. Dishing up Dessert level sponsors of $50-$299 will be listed in a Facebook post thanking them, along with all other dessert sponsors.

Donations of all amounts are appreciated! To make a donation as a Project Food From Friends sponsor or Dishing up Dessert sponsor, or as a donor of any other amount, please use the donation form below or mail a check made out to Stonehill Communities to Stonehill Communities/Project Food, 3485 Windsor Ave., Dubuque, IA 52001.

Project Food From Friends Sponsors will receive the following benefits:
  1. On the day of the event(s) the sponsors will be listed on the TVs and digital display boards throughout the building.
  2. The scheduled dine-ins for the month and their sponsors will be included in the monthly Gazette newsletter that is distributed to residents and family members and posted on our website and Facebook page.
  3. A Facebook post will showcase your logo and thank you for sponsoring a meal. We will tag your Facebook page or include your website so others can learn more. The post will be seen by over 1,500 people who like our page and many of their family and friends.
  4. We will send an e-mail to our entire mailing list thanking your business. This will include resident families, employees, board members, our community partners, wellness center members, and donors. The e-mail will go to approximately 5,000 people. We will include a link to your business website.
  5. Sponsors who give $500 or more will be invited to make a short video (or have us stop by to record you) that we can post to our Facebook page telling a little about why you chose to support Stonehill. This is a great way to showcase your community support.
