Community Announcement

On Wednesday, August 17, we announced to staff that both Stonehill Communities and our Administrator Peggy Stockel have been selected to receive State awards through LeadingAge Iowa, our State advocacy group for organizations providing aging services. Congratulations to the whole Stonehill team on the 2022 "Excellence in the Workplace Award" and to Peggy as the 2022 "Award of Honor" recipient!

Excellence in the Workplace Award

This award recognizes a LeadingAge Iowa member organization that demonstrates effectiveness in fostering and advancing a healthy work-place culture, promotes diversity and an environment that supports the recruitment, retention and development of staff at all levels of the organization.

Award of Honor

LeadingAge Iowa’s highest award honors the late Francis Lackner, the association’s first executive director, and pays tribute to his distinguished service, dedication and foresight in aging services. This award is given to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the field of aging services as a representative of a LeadingAge Iowa member organization and is a recognized leader within their community, the state and national level.

The formal awards presentation will take place at the LeadingAge Iowa Fall Conference in September.

If you have any questions regarding visitation or our ongoing precautionary measures you may contact Peggy Stockel, V.P. of Operations or Matt Jahn, Director of Health Services at 563-557-7180.

Thank you,

Peggy Stockel
V.P. of Operations/Administrator
