Update for September 15, 2020

Stonehill Communities is committed to keeping you informed about the on-going testing for COVID-19. As a requirement from from Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Stonehill Communities Health Center has begun conducting weekly testing for COVID-19 of all health center employees, in addition to the previous testing done following an exposure or when symptoms were present. Here are the numbers to date:

COVID-19 Numbers for Stonehill Communities Health Center for 9/15/2020

Number of Positive Resident Cases: 0 Current; 3 Recovered

Number of Positive Employee Cases: 0 Current; 10 Recovered

Number of Positive Employee Cases from Facility Antigen Testing: 4 Current- 1 Employee Confirmed on 9/10/2020; 1 Employee Confirmed on 9/11/2020; 1 Employee Confirmed on 9/14/2020; 1 Employee Confirmed on 9/15/2020 (All Asymptomatic)

Number of Residents Tested w/ COVID-19 Symptoms (including pending): 46 (1 Pending PCR Results)

Number of Employees Tested for COVID-19 for Symptoms or Exposure (Including Pending): 181 (4 Pending)

There are currently no positive residents at the Stonehill Health Center.

As a reminder, all employees have been wearing personal protective equipment following the CDC guidelines. Employees are screened prior to each work shift, including having their temperature taken and symptoms assessed. We have notified public health officials as required and are following procedures recommended by the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, State and Local Public Health.

We are taking every step as recommended by authorities to contain the spread. We want to make residents, their families, and our dedicated staff aware of this situation and reassure everyone that we are on top of it. The continued health and safety of residents and staff is our top priority.
