Update for Saturday, September 12, 2020
Since our weekly update on 9/11/2020 there has been one additional employee at the Stonehill Health Center diagnosed with COVID-19 (on 9/11/20). This employee was found positive as part of the antigen testing conducted as part of the weekly employee testing requirement from Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Both employees found positive through facility antigen tested were asymptomatic.

0 Current; 3 Recovered
Number of Positive Employee Cases at Stonehill Health Center: 1 Current (1 Employee w/ Symptom Onset 9/4/2020; Confirmed 9/6/2020); 9 Recovered
Number of Positive Employee Cases from Facility Antigen Testing: 2 Current- 1 Employee Confirmed on 9/10/2020; 1 Employee Confirmed on 9/11/2020 (Both Asymptomatic)
Number of Residents Tested w/ COVID-19 Symptoms (including pending) at Stonehill Health Center: 45 (0 Pending)
Number of Employees Tested for COVID-19 for Symptoms or Exposure (Including Pending) at Stonehill Health Center: 177 (3 Pending)
There are currently no positive residents at the Stonehill Health Center.
Following the positive employee testing results all residents on the units that these employees worked were also tested for COVID-19. These results have not yet been received.
As a reminder, all employees have been wearing personal protective equipment following the CDC guidelines. Employees are screened prior to each work shift, including having their temperature taken and symptoms assessed. We have notified public health officials as required and are following procedures recommended by the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, State and Local Public Health.
We are taking every step as recommended by authorities to contain the spread. We want to make residents, their families, and our dedicated staff aware of this situation and reassure everyone that we are on top of it. The continued health and safety of residents and staff is our top priority.
