Weekly Update for Friday, October 9, 2020
Stonehill Communities is committed to keeping you informed about the on-going testing for COVID-19. As a requirement from from Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Stonehill Communities Health Center is conducting twice weekly testing of all health center employees for COVID-19, in addition to the previous testing done following an exposure or when symptoms were present.
Stonehill Communities Health Center currently has 12 positive cases of COVID-19 in health center employees and 2 positive health center residents. The residents that tested positive today, October 9, 2020, were from surveillance antigen testing. We are continuing surveillance testing of residents in all areas and will send updates as we have results.
As a reminder Stonehill staff are screened at the beginning of each shift, including having their temperature taken at the beginning and end of their shift, are wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, and practicing proper hand hygiene. The continued safety of residents and staff is important to us.
Please see below for complete information on testing results.
