We have identified 2 new cases of COVID-19 in Health Center employees. We are in Outbreak Status. Masks are now required for employees and visitors. Visitors are welcome for all residents.
COVID-19 cases/testing at the Stonehill Communities Health Center, as of October 19, 2022:
Positive Resident Cases: 0 Residents; 145 Recovered
Positive Employee Cases: 2 Employees; 310 Recovered
Residents Tested w/ COVID-19 symptoms or Surveillance Tested (including pending): 340 (0 Pending)
Employees Tested for COVID-19 for Symptoms or Exposure (including Pending): 632 (0 Pending)
Visitors in the Health Center will be required to wear a mask while walking through resident care areas as well as the dining rooms. Visitors may opt not to wear a mask while visiting with a resident in their individual room.
Residents will be encouraged to wear a mask while outside of their room as well, though it is not required.
While we are changing the requirements for masking, it is also important to remember these preventative measures:
Hand Hygiene- all individuals shall perform hand hygiene using soap/water and/or an alcohol based hand sanitizer for at least 20 seconds.
Testing- residents on Skilled HH and 1 SE will be completing surveillance testing.
