We have identified a new case of COVID-19 in a resident in the 1 Southeast Household. We are in Outbreak Status. There are currently 6 cases in Health Center residents/employees. Masks are required for visitors. Visitors are allowed for all residents.
COVID-19 cases/testing at the Stonehill Communities Health Center, as of November 22, 2022:
Positive Resident Cases: 4 Residents; 158 Recovered
Positive Employee Cases: 2 Employees; 316 Recovered
Residents Tested w/ COVID-19 symptoms or Surveillance Tested (including pending): 356 (0 Pending)
Employees Tested for COVID-19 for Symptoms or Exposure (including Pending): 639 (0 Pending)
To reduce risk of further exposure, communal dining and group activities have been suspended for residents in 1 Southeast. As cases decrease, these activities will resume.
We have had several families/residents request rooms to use for their holiday gatherings here at the Health Center. While we can appreciate and understand the request, we would prefer group gatherings to be limited to 8 people at one time. We love seeing loved ones able to be together, but we must also make sure we are taking proper care for all the residents who call Stonehill home. As a reminder, masks are required in the Health Center when outside the resident room.
In end of life circumstances or other special circumstances, please contact your loved one's social worker to discuss arrangements.
If you have any questions regarding visitation or our ongoing precautionary measures you may contact Peggy Stockel, V.P. of Operations or Matt Jahn, Director of Health Services at 563-557-7180.
