Update for Tuesday, November 10, 2020

Stonehill Communities is committed to keeping you informed about the on-going testing for COVID-19. We remind everyone to continue taking precautions such as wearing a mask, washing hands frequently, and social distance when in the community.

As a requirement from from Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Stonehill Communities Health Center continues to conduct twice weekly testing of all health center employees for COVID-19, in addition to the previous testing done following an exposure or when symptoms were present.

Testing results as of 11/10/20:

Number of Positive Resident Cases in the Stonehill Health Center: 1 Current; 5 Recovered

Number of Positive Employee Cases in the Stonehill Health Center: 13 Positive; 37 Recovered

Number of Residents Tested w/ COVID-19 Symptoms at the Stonehill Health Center (including pending):
62 (3 Pending)

Number of Employees Tested for COVID-19 for Symptoms or Exposure (Including Pending) at the Stonehill Health Center: 229 (0 Pending)

As an additional precaution there is resident surveillance testing on each unit where employees who were found positive worked. Please remember all staff are screened for symptoms and have their temperature taken before they begin their shift. All staff are practicing good hand hygiene and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment such as masks and goggles or face shields (gloves and gowns where appropriate).
