Weekly Update for Friday, May 7, 2021

As we previously indicated on April 29, Stonehill Communities Health Center, paused resident visits with the exception of compassionate care/end-of-life visits due to outbreak status. A COVID-19 outbreak is defined by CMS as one or more cases of COVID-19 in a resident or employee in a long-term care community. There are currently 2 Stonehill Communities employees with positive COVID-19 test results. The employees are off work and following public health guidelines. There is one positive resident case (identified 5/4/2021 and confirmed by PCR test result) at the Stonehill Communities Health Center.

Since the initial round of surveillance testing was completed, visits may resume for all residents except those on the 2 Southeast hallway (rooms 220-231 and 251-254). This is a precautionary step to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
