Stonehill has had one additional employee at the Stonehill Health Center test positive for COVID-19. Due to the information provided by the employee, the transmission likely occurred outside of the facility and is likely not linked to the previously reported case. This positive case was not a result of the employee and resident testing that occurred at Stonehill on July 2 and July 3, those results are pending.
Stonehill continues to follow guidelines from CDC, IDPH, and CMS including staff having temperatures taken at the beginning and end of their shift, performing proper hand hygiene, and wearing proper personal protective equipment including masks, face shields, gowns, and gloves as appropriate.
There are currently no visitors allowed, except in compassionate care/end of life situations that are approved. Anyone coming to the Stonehill campus, such as dropping off packages for a loved one, must wear a mask. The Stonehill Wellness Center is also closed until further notice.
