Outbreak Status Announcement and Weekly Update for Thursday, April 29, 2021

Today we learned a Stonehill employee tested positive for COVID-19. The employee is currently off work following public health guidelines. Per CMS this put Stonehill into "outbreak status," which is defined by CMS as one or more positive cases of COVID-19 in a resident or employee. The outbreak status required Stonehill to suspend visits, with the exception of end-of-life visits, until surveillance testing of all Health Center employees and residents could occur. Please note this testing will not be complete until end of day on Tuesday, May 4.

As of today, April 29, there will be no resident visits at Stonehill Health Center until at least Tuesday, May 4 (with the exception of compassionate care/end-of-life visits). Stonehill Communities will communicate when all surveillance testing is complete and if there are no additional COVID-19 cases visits may resume at that time. Please contact social work staff if you have questions.
