All Caregiver Resource Center activities are free unless otherwise noted. Many activities are available for either in-person or virtual attendance. Living with Alzheimer’s for Caregivers

An event every month that begins at 1:00 pm on day Second of the month, repeating until March 13, 2023

Join us one or more sessions of this 3-part series that answers your questions that arise in the early, middle and late stage of caregiving for an individual living with dementia. Hear from other care partners and individuals living with Alzheimer’s and learn tips and strategies to help you support a person living with this disease.

Early Stage – January 9
Middle Stage – February 13
Late Stage – March 13

Sessions will be 1 hour in length.

This program is offered in person and virtually.

Purple Level 1 class

We recommend Level 1 classes if you are new to a fitness program or have significant pain in your hips or knees. Exercises in Level 1 classes will NEVER go to the floor.

Green Level 2 class

Level 2 classes are our intermediate-level classes. Some of the exercises are performed on the floor. Be comfortable with Level 1 before taking Level 2, and you must have the ability to move yourself to and from the floor.

Red Level 3 class

Level 3 classes include jumping, running, and floor-based exercises. We encourage you to be comfortable with Level 2 before continuing on to level 3.

Special events

All special events are drop-in based and open to all members. No need to register.

Support group

Caregiver support groups to share experiences, process thoughts and feelings, engage with other caregivers, and gain strength to continue providing care.

Educational

Informational sessions on chronic health conditions, financial and legal options, community services, and other resources for caregivers.

Caregiver and loved one

Social or recreational activity programs where the caregiver and loved one can participate together.

Caregiver networking and self-care

Social, recreational, self-care, or networking programs specifically for caregivers.
