Jump-start your healthcare career

CNA Fast track program

Do you want to start a career in healthcare? Stonehill can help you obtain your CNA certification, make a difference in the lives of residents, and get established in your career in a matter of weeks with our Fast Track program.

No certification is required to work as a Fast Track CNA with Stonehill. With the CNA Fast Track program, Stonehill is able to hire employees and help them grow in their healthcare career. New employees are able to build relationships with peers in their field and earn an income while they are enrolled in training. Individuals are paid as CNA's and receive on-the-job training with our CNA mentor, a veteran member of our Nursing team, on CNA clinical and job duties and responsibilities.

Enter into the field of Nursing prior to completing CNA certification. Stonehill will pay for CNA classes and/or certification tests of those who are hired as CNA Fast Track employees. Individuals enrolled in Stonehill's Fast Track program may also be eligible for additional support services through Northeast Iowa Community College's Earn and Learn program.

For those who wish to continue growing in their nursing career, it fulfills the prerequisite for admission into the Northeast Iowa Community College nursing program. The fast-paced combination of classroom (or virtual classroom), hands-on lab and off-site clinical experience addresses basic nursing and personal care skills, patient rights and communication. Special attention to mental, physical and social health of geriatric and special populations is included.
